oh man, you’re giving me a throwback, and i love you for it. i think they were the first ship i ever made a playlist for (on 8tracks of course because it was like 2011).

who cooks normally?:

blaine makes a mess while cooking, which drives sebastian up a while, but blaine is amazing at it. sebastian grew up spoiled, so he’s not as used to cooking. blaine will drag him in as a sous-chef practically, and sebastian while whine about it the whole time and drag his feet, even though he always loves the end result.

how often do they fight?

not very much, but when they do it’s because of their different styles of communication. blaine definitely asks for more than sebastian does, and sometimes sebastian’s gets frustrated or sees blaine’s needs as unreasonably high, which can be a point of tension.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?

sebastian falls into spurts when he cannot stop writing. he’ll stay up until daybreak drinking coffee and writing. once every few months, he will watch the sun rise as he smokes cigarettes on their balcony. it’s either when his writing block is particularly bad or when he’s trying to unknot some ideas. blaine spends a lot of time with friends. he doesn’t need as much alone time to recharge as sebastian does and, in fact, tends to get lonely quicker.

nicknames for each other?:  

listen, i cannot stress enough that i will always be a sucker for sebastian calling blaine “killer”. he also sometimes says “anderson” when he’s being fake-serious, and blaine always rolls his eyes but loves it. and when he’s texting, he’ll sometimes just refer to blaine by “b”, but that’s perhaps more laziness with his texting than anything else. i also think that blaine is more inclined to use “seb” than “bas”. when he’s drunk, he sometimes says “sebby,” and sebastian is not a fan. 

who is more likely to pay for dinner?:

sebastian. blaine’s learned not to argue with it anymore. sebastian especially likes to take blaine out to fancy dinners and spoil him, but they’ve had to talk about it and draw boundaries.

who steals the covers at night?:

blaine. sebastian starts tucking it underneath himself on his side so that when blaine yanks it, it doesn’t get torn off of him, but it only works half the time. they finally find some peace when they buy one of those extra-large weighted blankets. blaine then starts sleeping a little more restfully.

what would they get each other for gifts?:

sebastian does not know how to be chill with his gifts. for their first christmas together, he buys blaine a gibson les paul, and blaine is both overjoyed and overwhelmed (”sebastian, you cannot spend that much money on me. i’m serious!”). blaine will bake really elaborate desserts and compose songs. but he also buys sebastian a lot of concerts tickets. he and sebastian bond over music a lot, and he loves to experience it live together.

who remembers things?:

blaine. sebastian’s good at it, but blaine’s quite sentimental, so he remembers some details that sebastian doesn’t and considers certain things “momentous” or milestones that sebastian doesn’t.

who cusses more?

sebastian in both french and english. he curses at everything, particularly when he’s in a foul mood. especially over text, it’s near excessive. blaine finds it oddly endearing and pokes at him for it (”is someone in a bad mood?”).

who kissed who first?:

the first time, sebastian kisses blaine in a moment of shared vulnerability. the signals are all there, but blaine isn’t ready for anything yet (”i want to, seb, but you got to give these things time”). so the second time around, sebastian lets blaine take the lead.
